RETURN POLICY
Return Conditions
Lemonate offers a 14-day return policy for orders placed on our website.
All items must be in the same condition that you received them: unused, with tags, and in their original packaging. All items are expected to be tried on with care. Items are not to be worn excessively or treated with any products until after your decision to keep them. Should an item show signs of use upon return, our warehouse will create a backorder and the item will automatically be returned to you.
Request a Return
1. Register
Register your return online within 14 days of receiving your order. On your packing slip, you will find a URL and a scannable QR code that links directly to a simple website where you can register your return.
QR code doesn't work? Send us an e-mail and we will provide a label.
Note: In-store purchases cannot be returned online.
Note: Free returns are available at our stores in Knokke or Antwerp.
2. Packing
Pack the items you want to return and include the completed packing slip. Download and print your return label.
Note: The cost of the return label is at your own expense.
3. Shipping
Bring your package to a drop-off point within 3 business days of registering. You can find a list of drop-off points in the return portal.
4. Refund
Once our warehouse has received your return, you will receive a refund within 14 business days.
Return Rates
Lemonate offers free returns if there has been a mistake on our side (e.g., wrong or damaged item). In all other cases, the return fee is to be paid by the customer. The price of the return label we provide will be deducted from the returned amount (ex. for a €4.95 label, €4.95 will be deducted from the returned amount).
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. Contact us immediately if an item is delivered defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item. This way we are aware of the faulty item and can advise you accordingly. Do not treat the items without our recommendation, and do not return faulty items unannounced. If our warehouse team notices damage or defects that were not reported, the damage will be assigned to the customer who returned the item(s). Should an item show signs of use upon return, our warehouse will create a backorder and the item will automatically be returned to the customer.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Lemonate does not accept returns on gift cards, jewelry, or accessories (such as socks). However, purchases made with a gift card can be returned. Items purchased on sale in-store cannot be returned, but online purchases can be returned according to our standard return policy. Please ensure that you review all sale items carefully before making a purchase in-store, as all sales are final. However, if you buy sale items online, you still have the option to return them within the specified return period.
Exchanges
If you wish to exchange an item for another size or a different item, we recommend requesting a return and making a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
The delivery of a returning package may take a few days, depending on the carrier and the country from which it was shipped. The confirmation email of your return contains a link to the return status page.
Import duties cannot be refunded by Lemonate as these charges are determined and collected by national tax authorities, as disclosed in our shipping policy.
